CompactForklift

Small Electric Forklifts for Narrow Aisles

When racking goes in before the forklift arrives, aisle width becomes the hard constraint. Compact electric forklifts turn tighter than standard trucks, working in aisles that a standard forklift cannot enter - letting you keep storage density without switching to specialized very-narrow-aisle equipment.

The problems this solves

Existing racking laid out with aisles under 3.5 m
Standard forklifts cannot complete right-angle stacking turns
Very-narrow-aisle trucks cost far more than the operation justifies
Need to verify fit before committing to a purchase overseas

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the narrowest aisle a compact electric forklift can work in?

As a planning figure, aisles around 3 - 3.5 m often work for 1 - 2 ton compact models with standard pallets. Exact fit depends on pallet size and load overhang - send your layout in the RFQ and we will verify before quoting.

Do I need a reach truck instead?

Reach trucks suit aisles under about 2.8 m and high racking. If your aisles are 3 m+ and lift is under 5 m, a compact counterbalance forklift is simpler, cheaper and more versatile.

Buying for narrow aisle?

Send us your aisle width, pallet size and shift pattern - we will recommend a configuration and quote against it.
